David Tyree had what may be the biggest catch in Giants history when he hauled in an Eli Manning pass against his helmet during Super Bowl XLII. Now he is on the verge of not making the team’s 53-player roster. Tyree is prepared to be cut as the Giants have an ample amount of receivers trying to make the roster.
Tyree will almost definitely be on the outside looking in being that he is 8th on the depth chart and the Giants are expected to keep six receivers. His injury hasn’t allowed him to be on the field much this summer causing other receivers to have a leg up on him. Tyree understands the situation but hopes for the best.
