New York Giants safety Kenny Phillips has been placed on the IR and will miss the remainder of the season. Phillips has been bothered by a knee injury for about a month. C.C. Brown will start in Phillips’ place for now.
Phillips was a key player in the Giants’ 33-31 victory in Dallas. Phillips recorded two interceptions and seven tackles in the week two win.
