The New York Giants and Jets are banged up heading into week three especially in their secondaries.
The Giants have lost safety Kenny Phillips for the season and have recevied safety Aaron Rouse off waivers from the Packers. The Giants also have two injured cornerbacks who will most likely sit out week three against the Bucs. Aaron Ross and Kevin Dockery, who both have missed the first two games with hamstring injuries, will need more time to recover.
The Jets have two cornerbacks who will not be on the field Sunday against the Titans. Lito Sheppard is out with a quad injury and Donald Strickland is sitting out due to an ankle injury. This leaves the Jets thin at cornerback. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have spoke with former Raven cornerback Corey Ivy and former Jet cornerback Justin Miller.
