Ryan Still “Believes” in Sanchez

Jets rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez threw five interceptions in the Jets 16-13 overtime loss to the Bills.

After the loss, Jets coach Rex Ryan said, “I thought about pulling him. I still… I believe him. I thought he bounced back. I thought he gives us the best chance to win and he’ll remain our quarterback.”

This is what you get with a rookie quarterback. The Jets may be in a win now mode but it’s so hard to win in the NFL with a rookie behind center.

“Embarrassing day,” Sanchez said. “Really too bad. Really let this team down and there’s no excuse for that.”
