Hideki Matsui World Series MVP

Hideki Matsui’s six RBI night in game six of the World Series earned him MVP honors. Not only is he the first full-time DH to win the award, he is the first Japanese born player to with the award. Here is what Matsui did this series:

He started the three games held at Yankee stadium and came off the bench as a pinch hitter in the three games in Philadelphia.
