Tiger Woods Accident, Affair, and Personal Life

Tiger Woods may not be a part of New York sports, but this is a national story so here is a quick note about the situation.

All of the media coverage is absolutely ridiculous. No human being would want to be in Tiger’s shoes right now, let alone get the mass coverage this story is getting. Of course Tiger was absolutely wrong for what he did, but let the guy take care of his family matters privately. It is a private situation after all. Just because he is a professional athlete and billionaire doesn’t mean his personal life has to be on public display. The coverage is a disrespect to his entire family and everyone involved in the incident. The coverage may also give a crazy, money-hungry woman a reason to falsely say she had an affair with Tiger to gain stardom or money herself. Think about it this way: If you did something wrong would you want the entire globe to know about it? I didn’t think so. Again, I’m not backing Tiger for what he did by any means. I’m just merely saying that the matter deserves to be handled privately. Tiger doesn’t owe anyone an explanation but his family.
