According to Alan Hahn of Newsday, Nate Robinson is headed to Boston. Hahn first said the Celtics would give the Knicks Eddie House and a 2nd round pick, but has since said the specifics are unknown.
Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that a source told him, “D’Antoni wants House, and (Boston) really wants Nate, so everyone is motivated here.”
Sports Illustrated is reporting the Knicks are finalizing a deal for Tracy McGrady. The report suggests the deal could be finished tomorrow.
Neither trade is official.

Got a huge beef with the tmac trade, particulary the draft picks. What if the knicks strike out during the summer with free agency? Then what’s the plan? Can’t build through the draft for another two years and I don’t know who the free agent class for 2011 or 2012 but I’m pretty sure it won’t be as good as this one. So the plan Walsh and D’antoni had coming in would fail. This all would be moot if they did land someone, but to me the risk far outweighs the reward. They should see if the rockets will buy Tmac out. He is on record as saying this is where he wants to go so sign him then. If the rockets decide to let him sit and watch his contract come off the books then the Knicks won’t have to give him a max salary should they choose to go after him. He won’t be a Rocket anymore so they should try to get something in return.
As far as Nate goes, whatever. D’antoni doesn’t like him and is trying to ship him along with a few others out. I am intrigued by Tyrus Thomas and I hear rumors about Sergio Rodriguez from Sacramento, who I would be cool with as well.
Sorry I didn’t post this Rich. I am as unreliable as they come. Tried real hard not to refer to the Knicks as we.
I agree, the T-Mac trade is a HUGE risk. If the Knicks don’t make a huge splash in free agency then they will have hard times for years due to lack of young talent. Robinson trade is great for Knicks if they get House and 2nd round pick. Thanks for the comment.
